Had a lot of fun with the conception and illustration of this album art. Put together for fellow Ohioans, SickasMe. The band wanted to make sure the album art reflected the message of the title (Music Above the Mines). My goal was to represent music as a hopeful and exciting experience that rises above a desolate landscape. High contrast colors and flowing strands were used to represent the liberating feeling of music and reinforce the album title.
