Two-color screen printed gig poster for indie folk band Deer Tick. In support of their new album, I designed and printed this poster with direction from their management. We agreed on a nautical theme, with an anchor as the focal point to the poster. This poster was a limited run and actually sold out at the show.

This posters was printed for the Dallas date of the most recent Touche Amore tour. Pianos become the Teeth, and Seahaven, also supported and my intention was to put together an original sketch that looked sporadic and resembled a kind of madness, much like Touche Amore displays in their music and live act. Printed on lemon drop poptone paper from French Paper, bright colors with distinct contrast, was necessary to make the design eye-catching to the viewer.

Album art and layout for Australian rock group, The Sweet Decline. The band was looking for artwork that reflected the gritty, yet haunting sound that surrounded the album. So the focus of the artwork was to produce something spiritual, even metaphysical in nature. After pitching a few ideas, we landed on a design with a woman's face as the focal point, floating among the stars. Both parties felt it was a great representation of the album's title and musical direction.

The goal was to create custom type for the logo that embraces and reflects the folk music genre. This included starting with a classic serif typeface and adding flowing lines and depth, in order to make the finished logo reminiscent of text visible on an advertisement or sign from decades earlier.

Had a lot of fun with the conception and illustration of this album art. Put together for fellow Ohioans, SickasMe. The bands wanted to make sure the album art reflected the message of the title (Music above the Mines). High contrast colors and flowing strands were used to represent the liberating feeling of music and reinforce the album title.
